Paper Works by Andreas Kocks

German artist, Andreas Kocks (born 1960) works in massive and meticulously crafted installations of cut paper. Working solely with paper and a limited color palette, Kocks’ forms seek to evoke and balance elements of four artistic genres: the linearity of drawing, the painterly brushstroke, the site-specific element of architecture, and the physicality of sculpture. He lives and works in New York City and Munich and his works can be seen in museums and private collections in Europe and America.

Neuromancer

Inspired by William Gibson’s Neuromancer book cover design by Josan Gonzalez, Lightfarm’s CG Artist Rafael Moco only used the 3D software Blender and rendered it with Cycles. The textures were made using the Substance Painter. Lightfarm’s Director Milton Menezes, photographed himself as the Neuromancer and finished up the Post Production in Photoshop.

Cross-Hatched Drawings by Olivia Knapp

Olivia Knapp, a visual artist, who has a degree in Fashion Design from Parsons, experience as a Printed Textile Designer and a passion for illustration, creates cross-hatched pen and ink drawings influenced by old European woodblock engravings.You can see more of Knapp’s pieces, as well as works in progress, on her blog.
